What is this place?

I like things simple, and I like things with a point. Usually, when I begin something, I want to finish it quickly; otherwise, I get distracted, and then lose interest, then procrastinate indefinitely. My websites are no exception -- I like to put up sites that are easy to build, and take little attention on my part since I am busy offline, while being useful for a lot of people.

Thankfully, that's what fanlistings are for.

"A fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are); they are just a place where you can sign up with other fans. TheFanlistings.org is the original (but not official) web directory for fanlistings, dedicated to uniting the fans." - TFL.ORG

Though the meaning of the word "fan" will most likely be overstretched -- what with the craziness proliferation of fanlistings from subjects ranging from the most exalted to the most obscure -- fanlistings are still a great way to let people know what one's interests are. FL's and all similar sites, such as namelistings (NL's), physical fanlistings (PFL's), hatelistings (HL's), etc. are half-pointless, half-purposeful: they are on the one hand an excuse to have a site running without any real content, and on the other, are instruments in unifying who are in it for a little fun promoting a love for a subject that may be underappreciated. A warning, though: joining FL's, once you get started, can be just a teensy bit addictive. :D
